SucreWEB The Sato Family Blog From Japan

Seiji and Kaoru have been happily married for about ten years, live near Tokyo and have three children (all sons). 'Sucre' means sugar in french, and sugar is called 'Sato' in Japanese. A pun.

Tea Time At French Cuisine "Nanbu Tei"

200910231542000.jpg
My colleague and I had a little tea time at small French cuisine "Nanbu Tei" at the back of Hibiya Kokaido pavilion after the negotiations at Uchisaiwaicho,

Unremarkable like a place of refuge but very elegant orthodox Japanese style house. Initially Nanbu Tei was started as a Japanese Soba noodle restaurant in 1955. Japanese roof tiles, white mortar walls and strong wood props. Very beautiful.
It was not time for lunch or dinner, so we had only a tea on the terrace behind the trees of Hibiya park garden. wow, the elegance.

The next table was a relaxing group that came to lunch from a nearby office. I'd like to come to lunch or dinner someday.
